The first minutes of the qualifying session had me on the edge of my seat as I waited to see if Sergio Perez would be a threat to Max and make the championship fight even more intense. But in a blink of an eye, my question was answered — Perez locked up at turn 3 and was out, starting in last place on the grid. The rest of the qualifying was pretty tight, without major differences between drivers. The biggest surprises were the amazing laps performed by Albon that led him to Q3 and the surprisingly good pace from Mercedes that guaranteed P2 and P3, giving the fans an exciting first row…
