“New Minister of Defence” — Formula One Canada 2023

This weekend formula one went to Canada for the 9th round of the season, with top teams like Aston Martin bringing updates to their cars, and some weather uncertainty can bring an enthusiastic show to the sports fans.

In fact, the qualifying brought us closer to the screens with constant weather changes, bold decisions from some drivers, like Alex Albon that was the first driver to choose slick tires in very hard conditions and that put him in Q3, surprising results like Hulkenberg that finish second on this session (he received after a 3 place penalty for impeding a driver on his flying lap), but in the end, the fastest driver was the one everyone was already expecting Max Verstappen was able to conquer the pole position with this fantastic lap:

The race was interesting, with a lot of DRS trains, multiple cars following closer to each other hence using all the DRS, aggressive overtakes, two kings of this sport (Alonso and Hamilton) having tough and fair battles, and Verstappen almost getting his second Grand Slam in a row, and yes in F1 we also have Grand Slams!
